Meeting Norway in 4 weeks

Four weeks seems like plenty of time to get a feel for a country. But, Norway is diverse and oh so large! We can only begin to meet Norway and its people during our stay. We won’t have Internet access everywhere, so posting our experiences to this blog might be spotty. Here’s our itinerary.

May 7/8 fly to Bodø which is in the Arctic circle
May 8-11 Bodø
May 11 take the slow train to Trondheim
May 11-15 Trondheim
May 15 take the train to Olso
May 15 – 19 Oslo (We will be there for Constitution Day!)
May 19 take the train to Kristiansand
May 19 – 26 Southern Norway where my ancestors are from
May 26  drive across the Southern mountains to Ullensvang
May 27 drive to Bjørgo Gard on the Aurlandsfjord
May 27-30 see stave churches and enjoy the fjord
May 30 drive to Oslo
May 30-31 see Oslo
June 1-2 do the Norway in a Nutshell tour
June 3 fly home
